Bryan Toh, Future Relics

We were first introduced to Bryan and Future Relics by our friends at Monday Creative.

Created in 2019, Future Relics is a lifestyle brand that exists to bring together a global community of purpose-seekers through mindfulness and movement.

Bryan has spent most of his career in luxury technical apparel and coffee with companies like Kit and Ace, wings+horns, Reigning Champ and Matchstick Coffee. Before co-founding Future Relics, he led product strategy for Lululemon’s lab concept for innovation hubs in both Vancouver and New York City, as well as overseeing product line expansion to Asia and E-commerce.

We asked Bryan a few short questions before our chat next week.

Made You Think: I’m an introvert at heart so I always reflect on the purpose and meaning of my existence in this lifetime. This has definitely contributed to building a brand that values slow living - taking a moment to pause, breathe, and have gratitude for what I have at the present moment.

Made You Laugh: This photo of our family pup in Vancouver in her UPS uniform always make me smile and laugh. (Last photo in the gallery images.) Her name’s Stoli. 

Made You Dance: Indoor cycling in a dark room and deep house beats always gives me a surreal experience - it’s basically a dance class on a bike! So everytime a beat-y, deep house music comes on my playlist, I find myself moving my feet to the rhythm.

Made You Create: I’ve always been surrounded by creatives at home so it’s natural for me to get inspired by architecture, interior design and fashion. So creation of product and experiences have always been innate.
